Happy birthday ABI!!!!!

Someone is turning 7 (!!!!!!) today.... where has the time gone.....
And since Abi's birthday fell on a Sunday this year, we were able to celebrate on her actual day. Sadie planned a party at the house and we were all happy to go and enjoy this fun day...... trying to keep busy until we all arrived.. Abi did some chalk art in the driveway

party food.....

Reagan has come to celebrate.......

And being close to Halloween, the party favor bags had all kinds of funny things to play with......

A couple of Abi's friends from school came this year... she's starting to get into the "friends" stage and these little gals were so sweet.

Calvin wasn't ready to party just yet..... (next year that will be a different story...)

Sadie did a good job planning the party. It was so pretty outside that we could enjoy being out... a piƱata  was on the list of things to do... never could understand that game... blindfold someone, give them a big stick and have them hit something....

Reagan just did it his way.... no blindfold here, and grab the biggest stick you can find!!!

But the treats inside are well worth the effort

And onto presents. Abi is into science and art projects.. so it was easy to find things for her. I like that she likes to have things to put together and is interested in how things work.... I hope one day she'll be learning the hand projects that both her Mom and I enjoy doing..

Hey.. Calvin has joined the party.....

Happy birthday cake for this seven year old.....

and making birthday wishes for the year ahead

A fun fall day with family, friends and food... happy birthday to our sweet girl... and hopes for many many happy ones to come....

And then an added bonus to the day.. a bit of time to pull the wagonette out and take a drive.... I have so enjoyed this rig this fall.. and have been taking every opportunity to go...

Thought maybe Mona would join us, but she jumped off as we pulled away..... the fall is fastly passing....but I'm taking in every moment...
