This evening, as we were coming in from church... a big full orange moon was just beginning to rise over the lake. I stood outside for a bit, admiring the moon... and what do I hear...
the singing of the loons!!!!! They are back on the lake!!! it wasn't until I heard their beautiful song that I realized how much I have missed them all winter...... you can bet I will sleep with the window open a crack tonite, just so I can listen them!!!

I envy you. We don't really get loons in BC, but I grew up in Ontario and loved to hear them at our cottage in the north.
