Ourfriend Rickwas having abit ofwork done in his back yard and things didn't go exactly to plan!!! this certainly turned out to be one of those "oh my" moments!!!!
With the work of another machine, a skidder, and some good friends.......
All's well that ends well, and the "digger" is once again on solid land........
We have had an excavator and a bulldozer out here working on enlarging our pond. Al was working on the east bank with the dozer and it started to slide into the pond! He jumped off and into the excavator, swung the bucket around to stop the slide. He then connected a chain to the dozer and pulled it back out. Needless to say; the excavator is huge!!! The house shook when it rolled down the drive. Watching the whole process is exilirating and scary--so huge and heavy. Glad the rescue worked; just think if some day waaaay in the future someone was digging and found that buried in the ground!!!!
