November swoops in.....

And here we go again, another month sneaks up on us, and the busy days are vastly closing in. The clocks will change back soon and the nights will be longer but the house is cozy and warm. Coming in from chores, I saw this view of my home, and felt so blessed that this is where I "get to live"......
I had company this first day of November, Kass and the grands came for a day at the farm. I love the fact that they love to come.... and always try to think of things for them to do. Reagan likes the 4 wheeler, and wanted to take it for a ride out threw the pasture.

Calvin is getting heavy and I thought I would save his Mom's back and we pulled out the little wagon. He seemed to be quite happy with his mode of transportation...

And off we went, following the driving path. Sadly.. the four wheeler did not co operate as well as hoped. It's battery died part way threw the drive... (we need a new battery).. though Reagan has informed me that  a gas four wheeler would be much better.... I can see where this is going to lead to. At any rate, he had to hope off and walk the rest of the path... and we went out with the gator afterwards and towed it back....
Ol Charlie  had a good time exploring ...

The horses were very curious at this parade that was passing by their pasture... Tonka in particular...

I guess Reagan thought that his brother's transportation wasn't so bad after all and he hopped in ...

We stopped at the barn to say hi to the animals, and then Reagan thought I could use a little help with some of the chores... he swept the whole ally way for me and did a pretty fine job of it...

He's still not interested in getting on a real horse, but this one does fine for now....

And this is Millie... she's a doggie that comes for day care, so i just wanted to put her photo in as well. She would have liked to join us on the walk, I guess I should have brought her.

but, such a nice day to spend with the grands... and such a pretty day to be out, for these won't be around too much longer... the winter winds will soon be here, and staying fireside will be much better...
